2nd one today!
spent about 2 hours on this one... more time on the details obviously. Man those foresty hills were soo challenging! But Im happy with them in the end, made a wik, fluffy custom brush that I used for almost everything.

Really happy with this one
(delicious clouds)

there's this track called Milford's Track (such an original name xD) where loads of people hike. It's somewhere on the South Island.

I think this is a big improvement over your first one. I'd say the only issue I have is that you chose a very difficult reference as it's very noisy and it's hard to replicate that in a speedpainting, as the idea is not to spend time on small details. But if you don't detail a picture like this it tends to just be a bit of a mess. That's not to say, however, that it's impossible to do a speedpainting from that reference; it just takes a lot of experience to imply that level of detail with just a few brush strokes. But if you keep persisting at this rate, you'll have gained that experience pretty fast.

I think I know what you mean... you mean noisy as in like, VERY BIG and far away? So I should do one with closer objects... maybe you could pick one out for me to try.

No I mean noisy as in lots of small details (trees, water ripples, etc).
